Tanjung
& Pagarbatu, The greates Seaweed Producer in Saronggi District
Two beautiful villages, Tanjung and
Pagarbatu, located in Saronggi district are the greates seaweed producer. It is
about 20 kilometers from Sumenep town to the south. Find the triangle of
Saronggi district, turn left and go stright for about 10 minutes.
Because of the powerful sea, almost both
Tanjung and Pagarbatu people act as fisherman, and usually utilize everything
of that sea to finance what they should have. One of interesting job is
cultivating the green seaweed. You can see around the main road of these
villages that there are so many seaweeds are still drainage process. It is
processed traditionally, drainaging used the warm sun ray in the whole day. You
also can smell the unforgettable scent, and you can grab either virginal or
exotic sea and view. Enjoy your vacation on these beautiful villages.
