INTERPRETING STORIES

1.  PRIVATE CONVERSATION
Last week, I went to the theater. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. It showed a legend from Indonesia namely Malin Kundang. Both the actors and actress acted very well. Moreover, the stage was also decorated carefully. It was end at 10:00 pm. I really enjoyed the play at the time.
When I was looking for the key of my bike, I saw an old brown recorder at the corner of sit beside me. I absolutely realized that the recorder was not mine. But I felt so curious about that. So that, I took it and put it in my pocket. When I was lying on my bed, I tried to listen each session of recordings.
An unpredictable thing happened. I was surprised when I was listening the sixteenth recording. I heard a very serious conversation among two men. They were talking about crime. After listening carefully more than three times, I got the point. That was about someone who raped a junior high school student. I had no enough information about that crime, because of the short duration. But, one of man in the recording said that the crime was done in one of famous hotel in Surabaya, exactly in room 97A.
I could not belive what I heard. That was a terrible violation. If you were me, what will you do? I could not sleep easily at the time. I had no desire either to go to the school or hang out after school. I also could not caught anything from what my teachers explained to me and other students in class. Finally, I decided to go to the theater and returned the old brown recorder at the same sit.

2.  BREAKFAST OR LUNCH
It was Sunday. I never get up early on Sunday. I sometimes stay in bed until lunch time. Last Sunday, I got unenjoyable thing. In Saturday night, I watched newest Korean Drama namely Pinocchio. It is a great romantic drama. I watched over the night. Perhaps, it was about 3:00 am when I decided to stop watching it.
I did not now what time it was. I just heard my mother knocked the door and called my name very loudly. But I could not open my eyes. I felt so sleepy at the time. On the other hand, someone tried to knock the small window in my room harshly. When I realized that someone who knock the windows was my dad, I woke up  as soon as I could do.
I just sat on the long red sofa in front of the television. My old brother, David, played games in his new gadget. He told me that he would like to go out with his friends. Then, my mother offered a menu for breakfast. But I was full.
Instead of heavy rain, I decided to go to bed. I locked the door and switched of my phone. I did not know what happened after that. Something which was made me woke up was I felt so hungry. Then, I drunk two glasses of water. It was 2:15 pm. I looked around, but no one except me. I took my phone, and I got a message from my David. He said that he was in library of Oxford university with his friends. So, how about my parents, I asked to my self. Two minutes later, there was incoming call from my dad. He told me that he was enjoying his nephew’s wedding party with my mom and other relatives.
Meanwhile, I was alone at home. I felt so hungry. When I was looking for anything that can be eaten, I found two dishes on the desk in dining room. Perhaps, my mom made a dish for breakfast, and another for lunch. But I  just guessed. The dishes were so yummy. To overcome my disappointment, I ate two big portion of dishes at lunch time.

3.  PLEASE SEND ME A CARD
Post card always spoil my holidays. Last summer, I went to Japan. I have spent my holidays in Sapporo for two weeks. I learnt a lot of interesting things over there. Neither the culture or the way Japanese people wrote hiragana, katakana, and kanji.
One day, I spent the night at Tokyo tower with my new friend, Alice, a Russian girl. We shared each other our cultures, arts, interesting spots, and others. After I explained what my country has, she looked so curious about Idonesia. She also said that she was very interested in Indonesia, a country which has so many unique cultures and beautiful tour destinations. I offered her to visit my small village.
Futhermore, she showed some nice postcards to  me which was given by her friends. Those post cards were so great, with beautiful pictures, also unique designs. Otherwise, I never get any postcard. Perhaps, because I never send any post card to every one.
Then, I decided to make some interesting postcards to my friends. In fact, writing and designing them was not easy as simple as I imagined before. After two hours, I just finished a postcard. Its design was so simple. I browsed how to make an interesting postcard. I looked for the best design, then I immitated it. Finally, I could make ten postcards. Hopefully, they will send to me another nice postcard.

4.  AN EXCITING TRIP
I have just receipt a letter from my brother, Tim. He is in Australia. He spent his holiday in Mealbourne, one of beautiful tow in that country. He said that there was no traffic jam over there. It is very clean.
He is a book collector. He likes collecting comics. The main point of his holiday in Mealbourne is to find some great comics. Last two month, he went to Japan to look for any comics. There are more than five hundred comics in his private library in our house. Moreover, he has got ten comics from any bookstore in Mealbourne.
Tim added that he have met his old friend, Miley, an energetic Australian girl. He also asked Miley to guide him to some beautiful spots all around that country. The information that I most like is he bought two new t-shirts, and red shoes for me. But he will arrive in Indonesia next Saturday.
